And the Survey Says . . .

Sixty-seven GMS students answered our reader survey! Most students declared that they love to read Horror novels. In second place came Realistic Fiction, then Romance, then Adventure and Survival Stories. Tying for fifth place were Sports fiction, Science fiction and fantasy, and Non-fiction. Next came Mystery and crime novels, Poetry, Animal stories, Folklore, fairy tales, and mythology, and Historical fiction.

You have been heard! I will use some of the money we earned from the winter book fair to buy more of what you like. Thanks for participating.

GMS Teachers: Would You Like Your Own Blog?

GMS Teachers:

Ms. Harrington & Ms. Shtulman would like to help you get set up with a blog of your own. Think of all it could be: post assignments, communicate with parents, invite your students to post, showcase their wonderful work -- Whatever you can imagine!

We recommend Blogger and Edublogs. Both are free. Either one of us would be happy to show you how. If you can type, you can blog!

Once you have started your blog, you can announce it in the school newsletter and Ms. Harrington will link to it from the GMS website.

Blood and Guts postponed

Our partnership with FMC and GCC, Blood and Guts, will not be happening on April 4. Have no fear! We are working on rescheduling and will let you know. It is an event not to be missed!
